I quess I look at things differently ,I don't buy anything I can't pay for, right then in full!!
Oh buy the way, when you buy from me it's the same , cash right now.

I don't come on here to make friends,I have made some irregardless, but money is not a reason to make friends or enemies.

I won't sell my brother or sister anything on credit, and I don't try to buy on credit. Nuff said.
    Best of luck .

It seems pretty telling that, so far, Levis Cl***ic has not responded to this thread. Hopefully he will. Selling something you don't own is criminal, plain and clear. He's already damaged his reputation which up till now has seemed spotless. Even if this gets cleared up he's going to be on a cash up front basis from now on, and guys will, and should, deal with him with wary eye. A good reputation is a hard thing to develope but an easy thing to destroy. Lets hope this gets fixed pronto. Pinball has been much more patient than I would have been. I hate ripoffs.

I was wondering how long it would be until someone called attention to his absence on this thread.
The stinger on this is that, if he's sold it, he probaly lost what little interest he had in paying you. No one like to pay on something they don't have. Hopefully he chooses to go the other route, and square it up all at once with the proceeds from the sale. Hoping the best for you.

Does anyone know when he will be back? I am kinda losing faith that I will see my wheels. I pay pal'd him right when I bought em. Looking at my paypal account, it was on Sept 8th that he was paid. I want to give the benefit of the doubt...I just want the parts I paid for. EVILT

I haven't been around long enough to know Pinball, but nobody deserves to be **** on like this. I'm a pretty trusting soul myself, so I can sympathize. Knock on wood..so far I've never had a bad eBay transaction or with an online deal with a friend. In fact, I've bought 3 vehicles on eBay in the past two years sight unseen and all have been exactly as described. I'm also proud to have a reputation of never burning ANYONE..online or at home on a deal. I'm betting most of y'all are the same way. I just hope that the whole thing can be resolved and Pinball gets his money!

"I'm sure there might be a good reason , and maybe it'll all get worked out when we hear both sides of this.".........someone said above.

    ----------

I almost never jump in these things because there usually ends up being even a half-*** argument for the other side, but in this case it seems to be clear & there is no excuse for telling someone over and over and over that you are going to, or worse yet, HAVE sent it, and it wasn't sent. A couple of times that things didn't work out and you couldn't send is one thing, but even then you should email a guy and tell him you had a setback. But repeatedly for a year ? Everyone has problems and has things come up, most people are reasonable and try to understand.

Words mean things. When a person says they HAVE sent it, that means it's inside of the mailbox with a stamp on it, addressed correctly, and on it's way and the only thing keeping it out of your hands is the USPS.

And a guy with kids, going thru a divorce to make matters worse he needs his money....shameful, I'd be ashamed to show my face.

Then to be buying & selling things, and whole cars when the debt is still outstanding.....let alone selling the car the damn motors' in ?!.....there is no excuse, none, other than "I really couldn't care any less about you now that I got what I wanted."

I'm like many above, cash & carry.....I've seen too many things happen. Like a person selling their car who already had a $2000.00 deposit, waiting for the other $4,000.00 from a bank loan the buyer (my friend) was getting the next morning, and the guy had an accident with an uninsured motorist that night after my friend gave him the 2K. It happend not long ago....and they seller said he SPENT the 2K that night paying bills. He's fighting for his 2K now.

Good luck bro, I feel for you, you've been far more than patient and a good guy about this. I would have been all up in his face & doorstep a long time ago.

I don't know either of these twos guys so I have no loyalties either way........forgive me for being too lazy to dig through the thread, but I WHOLEHEARTEDLY agree with the fella who previously suggested that the guys FRIENDS ought to be "encouraging" him to square up. A REAL friend is honest with you when you goof up (even when you don't want ot see or hear it) and encourages you to make it right. Turning a blind eye to a friends mistakes helps no one - instead it actually screws EVERYBODY - yourself included because it now reflects badly on you - by ***ociation.

I had a guy in Texas screw me for $300 bucks - he had LOTS of friends telling me what astandup guy he was - ******** - if you think so ****in' much of him - YOU send me the 3 bills and let him owe YOU!!!! Talk is freakin' cheap - ACTIONS define the man - or inaction as the case may be.

I don't think it's an isolated incident. Long story short - I paid him for backing plates that he apparently didn't have (said he was mistaken). Took about 3 months and crying to Rocky to get my $$ back. Good luck.

  14. I have bought a couple of small things from Brett, always delivered. Never a problem.

Somebody should check on him, he could be turning into maggot food in his house.

  15. I don't think he is that far away he was logged on Sept 23 and posted on the 22. It ****s to get burned but maybe there are a couple of his "stand up bussies" that will cover his debt and work with him to collect.

While the situation sounds pretty ****py, it has been my experience that Levis Cl***ic will come through.

He does seem to need a friendly nudge now and then.

Some of these deals with Levis I've been made aware of and some not. He and I have been in contact and he's promised me to make it good with all of you. I need to be informed of any further problems with Brett...has he contacted you? Have you received your parts or a refund? Let me know because we want everyone here to be happy with their deals made here, including Brett...
And Brett...let me know if you're having trouble with getting people paid off, parts availibility or communications with the people you owe...I'll help in whatever capacity I can. I want to see everybody get their parts or a refund from Brett VERY SOON.....
