    Hey guys and gals,
I'm new to the HAMB. I've heard a lot of great things about the forums on here and since working with Gene Cromer, I found I needed to join. I'm a graphic designer/fine artist. I've been around hot rods and drag cars my whole life and most I my work is focused around the hot rod Atmosphere. I own a 1971 Buick GSX that I'm currently restoring. I'm also a member of the geargoyles car club. Well I think that's it for now thanks for reading! I'm excited to be a part of discussions and events on these forums ;)
    Thanks

Nice to have you aboard. Welcome. However, a 1971 Buick, or any other make, is not going to be accepted here. Way off topic. Gee, even your name is off topic!!

Welcome aboard C***andra. Your Moonlighter T-Shirt designs look terrific, and me & the wife intend to buy some. I'm in the same boat as you are not having any HAMB friendly (1965 and earlier) cars. I only have a 1971 and 1973 car after selling my Hamb friendly 1964 car. It's great that you got to meet Gene Cromer & the Moonlighter in person. I hope to meet them if they come to the Hot Rod Reunion in Bowling Green, Ky. later this year. --- Steve ---

Oh I did not realize that it was pre 64 builds, but thats cool I live around nostalgia. My family is buick 'poor' we have a 52 buick (and some post 64 buicks) and a couple of ford 30's sedans Ill just talk about those later. Plus I plan on owning my dream truck a 55-59 chevy/gmc fleetside or cameo truck.....any of those years/styles would be nice. But the college life has postponed the funds so hopefully my artwork can pay for the truck. Just a question why not pre 67? Glad to be here and hope to learn lots of car knowledge from yall ;)
    Thanks

It tends to keep the muscle car crowd away and it's what the main man Ryan wants.

Glad you're here ! i have a truck that is 1 year newer than a car that was mentioned ,but i always keep it a secret when i'm here .I do understand that the line needs to be drawn somewhere and it's hard to draw a perfect line .with the years because even if you say 64 and back ,well mustangs are 64 , and they don;t belong here and then look at a chevy 66 truck .That should belong here so it's a good line to draw .But a hard one. But that is a good question you asked about the year . Well have fun here and don't let the year thing get you down.

Welcome C***andra you've been saved by the bell, you own a '59 Pontiac. You will fit right in here on the HAMB, for the most part there's a lot of good people here on this site, look out for the HAMB Nazi's they like to put others down. Good luck with out art work, cars and college. I'm a former art teacher in the Los Angeles school system.

Welcome to the Hamb C***andra, the pre 65 cut off was established years ago by Ryan when he created the Hamb,,and as others have said the 71 Buick is considered off topic but your 59 Catalina is definitely welcome.

The artwork you have done for Gene is amazing and I am happy you stepped up and designed the T's for Gene Cromer. HRP

  17. Welcome, Yes you'll fit right in and do fine. There is a wrecking yard close to me that has lot of early iron in it. They kind of spe******e in them. I buy a lot of parts from them. If you can't find anything closer they are used to shipping to places unknown and are real fair about how they do it. They have a web sight ( www.allamericancl***ics.com ) or just call them at 360-254-8850 Also we have right here in the cl***ifyed section a place for you to list parts wanted.
