Customs Vintage Bumper Cars.....

Remember back in the day when you first walked up to an electric bumper car rink? I sure do. And then I found out I could drive one..... I did every chance I could get..... and then they vanished.....
I spotted one last year at the Rust Revival in Wayland Missouri.

This one is a "DODGEM" on gas. Any one know of others cruising the streets?

 

Make it into a hovercraft. That would be awesome.

When I went to Chryslers at Carlisle last summer I saw a company that was reproducing that style of body and they were putting them on the little Hoveround electric wheelchair ch***is. Pretty cool, I guess.

I also sold my 1957'ish bumper car to a guy who makes fibergl*** hot rod bodies and he said that he was going to use mine as a template for his molds. If I see them out there somewhere I'll post a photo here!

That Dodgem you have pictured is my dad's.... He's wanting to sell it!

Actually we are taking it up to Davenport for the vintage motorcycle meet this weekend!

I think he wants $1500 bucks for it... Hell I think it cost him close to a grand just to paint it and do the seat up.
