short bus howdy (posted again, cause I couldn't find this before :(

I've looked around (even replied to a post) but I can't find a formal place to say 'howdy'. I figure this must be as good a spot as any (and I'm guessing it'll get moved if not).

Anyway, I've had the car bug since I was a kid -- 'souped up' a '74 Maverick as my first car made the local gearheads smile that I'd even try, even recv'd a grudging respect I found out later. Never had an 'old' vehicle until I bought a '62 C10 last year, repaired it, added PS, gave it to my son. Now I'd like something a little more ambitious and so you all will probably see me around a little bit. If you've ever seen the cars from gas monkey garage in Dallas, you know what I like, I think somewhere between the HAMB and ol skool rodz is where my taste runs, but we'll see.
