Dumb question of the week...

So I have a dumb question for you guys. I am wondering how many posts I must have in order to be able to post in the for sale section or what it takes to be able to reply to items I am interested in the for sale section. I can send pm's and start threads here but can't reply to a for sale ad. I have 17 posts so obviously my profile has been verified.I have searched all over faq and still cant find the answer to my question. What is the issue with me/ profile? Hope you guys can help

 

The only person who can reply to a for sale thread is the original poster to update the ad or bump it up.

If you wanna buy something or ask questions you have to PM the seller. Everyone has to do this, not just you.

This is due to the fact that posting on an ad will bump it to the top and too many people have done this in the past. If you read the rules in the cl***ified ads, you would have known this.

Ok thanks. I already send him a pm so we will see where it goes. I belong to other forums where you can reply directly to the ad so that is why I thought you could reply and thought there was something wrong with my membership profile.

 

Other forums are dumb …. contacting a seller directly is smart

 

So, is "dumb question of the week" a new feature? Or should I be asking this next week?

Hey, I'm not laughing AT him, I'm laughing WITH him. We all ask a dumb question now and then.

 

I HIGHLY doubt that will be the dumbest question of the week.

 

Back when you could reply to ads there were usually a bunch of pointless " wish I was closer / wish I had the money / good luck with the sale " replies that bumped ads up early.

Personally I thinks it's better with the reply feature disabled like it is now.

 

Never a dumb question, just dumb answers...

 

No kiddin'. I didn't even know the rules had changed. I'm glad. I had one idiot who posted some small-minded **** on one of my ads some time back. I sent him a PM, politely asking him to delete it, and he actually sent me PM back saying "NO...I refuse." Brother

So this is good.

 

No dumb questions just dumb people. But boy are they tough.
