Does anyone know what year or (years) GM made 15x6 reverse wheels. 4 3/4 bolt pattern. I need 2 of them.

Don't you have to reverse them?

  3. I'm not aware of any factory reversed wheels. Unless I'm wrong you will be looking for aftermarket wheels, or reverse your own.

Sometimes station wagon wheels were a bit wider, and the offset also made them look deeper. Those were usually FOURTEEN inch wheels however. I think there's currently someone on e-Bay trying to sell some "tri-five 15 inch station wagon wheels", or at least that's his story. Butch/56sedandelivery.

Thanks guys, I heard some older Corvettes and Camaros had offset steelies. Just not sure what years had them.

  6. Best looking reversed 15x6 wheels I ever had were made from Buick outers with Chevy centers welded in them. Don't ask me for years or models but I had them in late 62 / early 63 so the parts had to be at least that age or older. They really were reversed because the valve stems could only be reached from underneath the car.

I'm just going through this type of thing on my build.
I was going to split and widen a set of wheels until I ran into a local guy that separated centres from two sets of wheels. He used the rings from one set and the hub centres from another set.
I think there's a couple of threads here in the tech section on the how-to details as well.

I'm using a set of 8" 1/2 ton GM rallyes for the rings with a set of stock 69 Pontiac centres. We'll set the offset directly on the car (a 62 Bonneville) before truing and welding.
