Pontiac 316 Question

Who out there can tell me if I can run a 1957 Pontiac 347 tripower intake on my 1956 Pontiac 316 engine? I'm not oppossed to blocking off the front and back carbs as my '56 is currently two barrel but not sure about port size differences?

 

Hey! I believe that you should be able to bolt it right up! I have one as well and it would look great on the motor. Really only for looks unless you beef up your 316!!!

 

Yes, intakes will interchange from '55-'60.

 

I did it without any h***le. But get set to purchase an after market linkage setup.
