1. You can do a HAMB search and find several threads on Carlisle-which, of course, was couple of weeks ago. Did you just wake up? 2. Your post doesn't make much sense. Full English words, spelling and a little syntax would go far in explaining what you want to know.
sorry i upset you I work for livein i am not illerete i think anyway but some things on these threads i dont always get to read i am a young hotroder and injoy this stuff if you dont like the way i use my is or type for get abou***!
Oh, I'm not upset. And, lots of us work for a living-with various levels of education. That's not the point. What is to the point is that someone will better understand your question and provide you with useful answers if you take the time to write more clearly. You could even use a spell checker-how long does that take? You might think it's cute, but why should anyone take the time to respond to your posts if you cannot be bothered to take the time to write clearly? That's the point. In answer to your original post: http://www.jalopyjournal.com/forum/showthread.php?t=797018&highlight=carlisle PS Use your right side mouse ****on and you can select spell checking and it will highlight the words you might want to consider-only 11 in your post I quoted. No one's looking for perfection, but you'll be on the HAMB for a long time-why not get off on the right foot?
Ever wonder why all good info is leaving the HAMB ??? to much BS...why do we have to bash everything ??this place is not a fun as it used to be. I still love to get on here everyday and hope my spelling is correct, and i don't use spell check.
Okaaay..........Carlisle........ I scored a 55 core support and a 66 Nova SS, drug the 57 Nomad I had for sale home. There were lots of dreamers crawling all around it but no takers, it surprised me as the price was right for a good entry level Nomad, I sold enough to get some soup and a sandwich oh and a coffee or two. It was a typical Carlisle........the opportunity cost is high to set up and stay. The weather was great and I always enjoy the people and the whole event. Although sometimes it feels like the same old routine I would not want to see it fade away. As most of us ,I have been going for a long time.
Didn't find a thing, but then again, I didn't expect to. I'm building my '36 Ford and Carlisle is predominately post-war stuff. I like to go and poke around, sniff the rust fumes and be a**** my fellow addicts. Once in a while I'll find something and that's a plus. Just my 'vacation' as a swap meet junkie !
Hildebrandt aluminum heavy 4 gauge panel . Heads for the big block and a slew of emblems for the OT car, Hurst T handle with 4 speed embossment. Yeah, dude - the search ****on gets you access to entering a key word eg: Carlisle, then you can look over existing threads within the topic of choice. This way it keeps multiple threads about the same topic to a minimum. Saves bandwidth and less work for Ryan and the rest of the mods.
Missed my first Carlisle since 1976, had a nice 23 day hospital visit instead. Spots were paid for and tent had been erected. BUT, I'm alive and have all of my parts. Prayer works. Jay jayhammondchevyparts.com
As mentioned in a previous "Carlisle" thread.....four of us headed down for a nice three day vacation. The weather was fantastic, and we all brought a few little treasures home. Can't wait for the next one....but as mentioned above, I'd probably be better served at Hershey. Maybe this fall....
Yes as others mention weather was great. Vendors had lots of rusty gold my favorite and was able to score compplus super shifiter last day very cheap.Wish many years to come be as cool as 2013 spring.
There IS a Carlisle coming up...an AACA east coast meet. Anyone know anything about that, or is this year the first of its kind??
Couldn't find anything listed on the AACA site, or on the Carlisle Show site carsatcarlisle.com. Any more data?
Found a lead: http://www.aaca.org/images/meet_brochures/2013_Carlisle.pdf No idea of quality...this may be the first at the Fairgrounds??? Obviously not Hershey scale. A second Hershey in Spring might be more than flesh and wallet can endure...
Spring and Fall Carlisle, for me, is all about hanging out with my buds from where I used to live and new ones from where I live now. This Spirng Carlisle had about the best weather ever for Wed-Friday. I did do pretty well vending wise this Spring event and finally scored a couple nice deals in the process, one in particular for my 40 Ford p-up project. Looking forward to seeing da boyze in da Fall ....
