I had a nice visit with junkman104, and he delivered my 348. I should have it apart tonight with some help from Nicola. She has claimed it for her model A. It will be at the machine shop monday for a little freshing up. It spins free, and is all there, should clean up quite nice. I will post some pics of it all dressed up when it is done. I guess I will have to put an auction up soon to say thanks to Ryan. I have found some good deals here, and have enjoyed everyone I have made deals with.
Since the wife and I are moving up that way when the house is done I am glad someone in the area got it. It was good to B.S. with Jason for a while and see someone with way more projects than I would want to have. Finaly met someone from the board and looking foward to meet many more. Good people here. I am not sure how built the 348 will be(I would like to stay in the 2k range on the longblock). If I was the type of guy that would just rering, and put new bearings in, this engine would be good to go. I am amazed at how clean the bearings and cylinder walls are. I woke up too late this morning to drop everything off at the machine shop, and get to work on time, so it will go tues. The starter, and generator will get checked out tonight, and all the tin, intake, and trim are going to the powder coater by the end of the week. I do not have very many projects at home, you should see the lot next to my new shop. I spent 10+ hours cleaning the shop, and the driveway Sunday. It almost looks like I work there now.
