Came across this forum while searching for parts for my new project. I picked up a 1946 Plymouth Special Deluxe last week and am researching parts and what not for a custom build up. I plan on some serious modifications to the car so I will eventually have the original running motor and tranny for sale in the future. I'll create a build thread when the time comes, for know I'll be reading and trolling about the forum collecting info. Brad
Nice start Brad, Welcome to the family! Youre going to lvoe it here. tons of nice folks and a wealth of information. If you need a hand with your ride, send it on over to me in Tulsa and i'll take care of you. LOL. We give discounts for HAMBers
You've got a shop in Tulsa? What kind of work do you do? I can handle pretty much everything I want to do to the car aside from the 3-4" chop I have planned. Something about cutting the roof off just doesn't sit well as a DIY project, lol. The car is up in Kansas at my dad shop where all the good tools are. Probably won't get started on the car until next year sadly.
hey Brad. I see youre in Moore. I hope you and yours are all ok after the storm monday. In regards to the restoration/custom work, I can handle anything you need done. I can work in any style you want to build and there's no project to small or too large. if you want us to do just the chop, thats what we'll do. You're justified in being a little leary of doing it if you have never done one. A top chop is not for the faint of heart and definitely a formidable challenge for a diy hot rodder. Give me a hollar or shoot me a pm and ill give u pics of some previous work, etc. once again...I hope you guys made it through the storm ok this week! Let me know if you guys need anything at all.
