    how good or bad are BLUEPRINT ENGINES

    It all depends on who did the work and how well they read blueprints.

    I have bought three different motors from Blueprint Engines including a 383 for my 47 C.O.E.

    All of them have been Great - especially a good value for the money!

    Installed 2 of them in friends cars, so far so good!
    They send a dyno sheet with each engine, and they produce about what they advertise for HP & torque.
    They are a good value as far as we can tell.

    Thanks my buddy is getting a 53 chevy pu built in a shop in florida,when i read the build sheet i was disappointed to see a blueprint 383 went in cause i had read about some quality issues somewhere.it will be too late when it gets shipped back here .will have to get plenty of miles up before it is shipped.thanx

    They do come with a warranty!
    I believe 3 years/36,000 miles.
    Can't do much better than that.

    I have heard nothing but bad news about them.....

    Who knows. I used a motor once after being advised against it, it was great, and got many incident free miles out of it before I sold the vehicle....

    If you buy one, let us know how it is....
