I have bought three different motors from Blueprint Engines including a 383 for my 47 C.O.E. All of them have been Great - especially a good value for the money!

Installed 2 of them in friends cars, so far so good! They send a dyno sheet with each engine, and they produce about what they advertise for HP & torque. They are a good value as far as we can tell. KK
Thanks my buddy is getting a 53 chevy pu built in a shop in florida, when i read the build sheet i was disappointed to see a blueprint 383 went in cause i had read about some quality issues somewhere.it will be too late when it gets shipped back here .will have to get plenty of miles up before it is shipped.thanx
I have heard nothing but bad news about them..... Who knows. I used a motor once after being advised against it, it was great, and got many incident free miles out of it before I sold the vehicle.... If you buy one, let us know how it is....
this thread http://www.jalopyjournal.com/forum/showthread.php?t=605823&highlight=blueprint+engines has typical HAMB drama, but some good information - only two guys knocking them, one a disgruntled former employee and the other a guy who's "cousin" had a problem with a 396 but when the Blueprint rep came on and offered to look into it the guy clammed up.
