I don't know the original location of the front axle, so I was wondering what some thoughts were on where I should set my front axle. I do not want it stretched out. Right there is about the same as a 32 ford from axle to firewall.

As long as you dont have front fenders that are bolted to the cab it dosen't matter where you put it as long as you are not worryed about weight distribution.

Are you running an electric fan or mechanical fan? Will you use spacers if using mechanical? Will the rad sit on top of the crossmember or in front or behind it?
These are a few things I took into consideration on my build.

It's hard to see but the grill shell is sitting there and it looks like I can run a mech fan.

I would mock it up with radiator shell in place and stand back and take a good look. You don't want to commit with something you will regret. Ken

The cab has a panel the runs down the bottom of the door that will be trimmed off. It's an international cab and it almost like it is channeled from the factory. I get a lot of people asking if I channeled it. For the frame size I used the measurements from a 39 ford truck, the cabs are the same size.
