Ohk everyone I am trying to find my 1967 ford fairlane 2 door sedan fire engine red bent left rear bumper white and black interior on hurricane wheels. I sold it to a guy In Canada about 3 to 4 years ago . So if anyone has seen one like said description please help hah. I will post pics. And does anyone know if there is a company or website that can help me locate my car? Thanks everyone really didn't want to sell my car but life happens and now I want it back.
If it was only 3 or 4 years ago, why not try to contact the person you sold it to? There's a good chance they still own it. ---John
Well I don't remember his name or his number. Trying to find some old paper work but If I recall since I was only 17 I never thought about stuff like that
If you remember the city and province it went to, try a Wanted ad in Craigslist or Kijijijijijiji there. That will at least get you started.
I know it's somewhere is Canada some where because I did a vin decoder but doesn't give more than a area on the west
if its three or 4 years go to the bmv. if it went to canada the ***le will still be open in your name. that way at least you could get the vin and do an online search.
I have vin. And my buddy is a cop and ran it for me and it's still in my name. And no diamonds. Was my dads car had since I can remember and he p***ed away 4 years ago and I was only 16 and had to grow up and take care of my mom and my sister so required quiting school getting a full time job. And selling my car I thought I would never sell. But like I said life happens. So it's my goal right now to find it and get it back.
If it's still ***led in your name, then that means the guy who has it now hasn't registered it, or it's in a place where ***les aren't being used possibly. Either way near impossible to track down. It could be in a garage or yard somewhere and how do you find it then?
It's in Canada the basic report says it was last tabbed last year in march and was a collector plate for Canada. Just doesn't give me were or the name.
rayjzt, We don't use ***les here in Canada. Ask your buddy the cop if he can run the V.I.N. number with the R.C.M.P. I take it the car went to British Columbia and if it did he may be able to run it through I.C.B.C. That's the Insurance Corporation of British Columbia. Here the insurance is run by the province so where ever you buy insurance you buy your plates as well and get any paper work done. These are private insurance company's that work for the province. The province will have the information stored and will release it to most police departments that ask as far as I know. Hope this helps. Wish I knew someone who could help you.
