Ever See A 1953 Chevy Chopped Convertible?

If you have, post some pics.
Been trying to find some and figure out just how hard of a chop it would be, but all I can seem to find online is diecast models

if you are just wanting to get rid of the hump in the middle ,you will only need to recon figure one bow---helps a lot...

 

I'm wondering about the windshield, too.
Trying to figure out how much to take out and how big of a deal it will be.
Considering buying a junk 53 vert with all the vert parts, then turning the 53 2 door hard top no post into a chopped vert.

But I don't want it to be a $20K project that takes 5 years.

I think maybe recontouring the top bows to lower the crown would be adequate......its already chopped 2" from the factory[from a sedan height].......

 

don't know if it would work on a 53, but I saw where a guy chopped his convertible by lowering the whole top mechanism into the body rather that cutting the top bows

Years ago Kenny Bernstein showed up at Indy with a red,chopped, 54 Convert. It was awesome! Like to know what ever happened to it.
