does anyone else use their children for help? my daughter really helped out by helping me put the engine and trans in. no scratches! my son..he can tear anything up.
my 15 Y.O. taking her Camaro apart, in the process of a full build now. She and her mom will be doing "Drag Week" in it in September. Also changing all 8 jets in my 55. She is my Crew at the track.
here is my son 8 helping on the roadster, just one of the reasons for getting the car, my other car is finished and nothing to do on it but drive, want to get him interested in old cars.
Gotta start 'em young! My son loves to help...sometimes. After this he was sent to the deck to hammer down all the nails that jumped up over winter!!

I think, I would start the kids out with learning the names of the different tools. How many times have you been under the car and need a that 1/2" open end that's in the tool box, someone to hand it to you would be great. After, they learn the names of the tools, you can build from there and you might end up with a car guy of gal on you hands. CRUISER
