Hi, Joined in order to talk it up about hot rodding, restorations and general repair. I own a 1960 Ford F-100 with the original 292 ci V8 and the Fordomatic tranny. Currently working out some generator issues, backfiring, and some high-pitched whistling from the engine. When I got her she hadn't run in years, fluids were filthy, seats were eaten through, rear lower corners of the cab were rusted away (still are). However, shes my project and I enjoy every minute of it although from an outsider's view all I seem to be doing is standing in the engine bay yelling "I'm gonna send you to the scrap yard you P.O.S..." I swear its love.
Welcome from the west coast of Florida. Old cars are known to make many of start swearing every once and a while. Just remember that when you are swearing at the truck it has no idea what you are saying and that's when it becomes apparent how silly it is to start swearing at it. Been there and done that. Jimbo
