bolt pattern for a 65 gladiator

    anyone know the bolt pattern for a 1965 half ton j 300 jeep gladiator I googled it and got two different answers

    If you are getting 2 different sizes on google, maybe they used 2 different sizes. Before I bought wheels, I would measure mine in person to confirm IMO.

    I just wanted to use them to get my new project home if they fit I got a 58 f100 that has all bad tires and was gona rob the wheels off the jeep to get it home If it fits

    I would definitely make sure what I had was correct. Just because the interwebs say one thing doesn't mean some redneck ******* didn't swap 1 ton running gear under it somewhere along the line! :cool: :D

    early j trucks were 5 on 5 1/2 later trucks were 6 lug. I believe a 65 should be five lug. ford wheels do not fit jeeps. the center hole is too small.

    I'll repeat what I said,,,, drive out there with a tape measure. 2 different bolt patterns from your findings, now not even sure its 5 or 8 lug. :cool:

    its a half ton with five lugs from what I have found it should work

    J-300 denotes long wheelbase. There was no tonnage then. Just 4x2 and 4x4.

    The pattern is 5-on-5-1/2".

    I don't recall anything 6-lug, or 8-lug, before '74.
