My uncle has one of those in stepside flavor sitting on the property. The motor was rebuilt shortly before it was parked, probably about 10 years ago. Needs some rust repair.

That's out of my price range probably, even after selling the other trucks I'd imagine. It's too shiny.

I found a binder that might be an option. It's all original and would need some work eventually, but apparently it runs good and everything works on it. It's a little more than I want to pay immediately, but if I could sell some stuff to recover may be an option.

What's better for a truck without a ***le? Resell whole or part it out? I'd imagine parting it out would be better.

Parting out is always more profitable ,but are you in the parts business , may take a year to get the parts sold , Your vehicles are all in parts, so best to sell as one piece to some one who wants a doner.
That delivery truck would be a super rare unit, It would demand a good return on your investment,

Since your Grandfather can t find the ***tles,if it is ***tled to him ,he can apply for a ''lost ***tle'' using the ID info on the vehicles tag and his ID /name.

The state usually wipes the records after a vehicle hasn't been ***led in 5 years. I already did a record search for the International, and I even had a license plate on it. The Chevy probably hasn't been on the road in 50 years, the Binder probably 40.

  7. here in the state its worth taking grand dad for a trip to dmv with any paperwork , numbers etc. he may have and they do have a way looking up beyond 5 years old , affidavid of lost ***le while he's there is the way to go and do as many as you can , will make it sooooooooooooooo much easier to sort them all out when the unfortunate days come when he cant go to dmv with you ,

its worth doing and worth doing now , don't wait because god for-bid what next week or year or beyond may hold.

THIS *is* worth doing, as in ASAP. You don't know how much trouble this will avert. It truely is the next best thing to getting the ***les from out of Gramps' dresser drawer. Not to mention a bit of bonding-time w/gramps. & well worth every second of it you can get... it might even help trigger some distant memories. :D .
