Model A Speedo Plate

Quick question. Will a 28/29 model A speedometer/ cluster ***embly fit a 1931 model a? Are the gas tanks the same? Mounting the same?

Also was there a speedo that read kilometers in 1928-31 A's? In Canada? I saw one once I think.....

28 thru early 30 speedometers are oval. 31 speedos are round. there is quite a bit of difference in the instument cluster size so im petty sure they wouldnt interchange

 

Yes, I knew the earlier ones were oval etc. but wondering if actual cluster plate is different?

If they were still oval in early 1930 they still bolted to the same gas tank in 30 as 31?

Plate is different

 

I just went and checked and the round hole plate wont fit on a 29-29 gas tank. No way no how.

 

The 28-early 30 oval speedometer dash won't fit the Late 30-31 round speedo dash tanks and vice versa.
