Google maps shows the 16020 south broadway address is still Iskenderian racing cams, and quite an outdoor collection of "stuff."
. Last fall Isky was in Indy for the PRI show and stopped by JoKerr Fabrication while he was in town. He was very interested in checking out the chop on my coupe. He even asked Jo to get him a flashlight. How cool is that!!! And yup... We ended up running an Isky cam in the coupe's nailhead. It's an old Tommy Ivo grind. .
50 YEARS AGO at the 1963 NHRA NATIONALS Gene Altizer won A/Gas and was runner-up in Middle Eliminator. One of his Cl*** Champion Prizes was an Iskenderian Jacket (he used an Isky Cam). A few years ago Ed Iskenderian came to the G***er Reunion In Thompson, Ohio. Gene and Ed had a reunion of their own along with "the jacket". Gene has kept it all these years and it looks brand new!! Then....Ed says "Gene, I'll bet you can't fit in it anymore...
Ed's 90th Birthday party. Art Voorhees (who ran Eddie's Auto Supply in Fresno)' getting his 1960s Eskenderian jacket signed by Ed. Cam is 404 flathead. Wish I had that.
