Dash wiring wire gauge??

    I'm ready to start with a rewire on my 46 Ford, I'm going to convert the stock gauges to 12 volt. What gauge wire to use?? Thanks

    14 to 16 ga. Will work. Be sure to use different color wires. Someday you'll be old and can't remember which is what.

    And WRITE THE COLORS DOWN on paper and keep with the cars records or even glove box.

    I used 14 and 16 ga on everything in my dash.

    The guage wiring kits come with 16, and so far, is working ok in my ride.

    Ditto, re; the "old part!"

    Why? A notebook at Walgreens is only 19 cents :rolleyes:
