My name is Justin and I like to turn the wrenches on the old stuff. Currently, I have a 57 T-bird I'm working on and pretty much completed all the mechanical work. I sourced a ton of knowledge and advice from all of you. You all have enabled me to am*** a decent amount of experience with the Y-Block and the Ford-o-Matic. I saw a post out there of a gentleman going through very similar stuff with Cruise-O-Matic and I thought I would attempt to share some of my experience. My apologies for posting prior to the intro, and a sincere thanks to all that have created posts that helped prior to my registration. The current project is the T-Bird and I hope the future project is the Vette. Nothing wrong with a little in-house Ford/Chevy rivalry right? Thanks for the help and I hope I can repay a little of what I have taken.
Thanks. I think I'm going to knock the undercoating off with the help of a blaster and paint the under body. After that, I'm going to be rocking the rust-stained white for a while. I gotta take a break for a bit.
