Normaly not one to question... but damn, the Guys just to the West in the Nordic countries seem to do fine... building traditional rods... IF anyone but a Mod posted this it woulda got shut down for being O/T Rat rods. Still a neat Video, and I'm not hating on the car, JMO.

That video is a spot on view of hot rod life in Eastern Europe and Russia. There is a lot of interest in for American hot rods, primarily in the under 40 crowd. People scratch build a lot of stuff because next to nothing is available. There are no swap meets, craigslist, etc to find American car parts. When something like what is in the video is built, it is a very big deal for car guys, and is often the highlight of car shows.
That could have been Phoenix,Omaha,or Austin...The coordinateschange,but the same energy is there. Love it!
I have a buddy that has a very large proportioned '32 Ford looking roadster that was built on a '62 Impala ch***is in Iraq in the 60's. He told me that it was built out in the desert by an old blacksmith from a few pictures to go by as a guide.
