I'm new to the H.A.M.B

    I often look at this site and I'm amazed at the knowledge some of you have.
    I live in New Zealand, I own a couple of Studebaker's as well as a K8 Dirt Track Car that I need some help identifying. The K8 came from a car wrecking yard in Mound House Carson City Nevada about 25 years ago. The attached photo is the only one I have of the car before it came to NZ. (the other photo is as it is today) Only the ch***is, suspension and axles were sent out to NZ. I wonder if one of you might recognise the car, not much to go on I know but it would be great to find out its race history.

    Welcome,from near Dallas Tx. I can't help with the ID but that looks like a hell of a nice find.

    My dad raced Two of those kind of cars in the late 1940s into early 1950s. Mostly in southeastern New Mexico. We lost all contact with the cars , as they were loaned to the drivers to race after dad got out of racing . He called them 3/4 cars as they were larger than the midgets but smaller than the Indy champ cars.
