I've been going through some of my stuff and I've been liquidating a bunch of stuff, selling car parts that I'll never use or get to and also a lot of stuff at home. I've been into art for a long time and in college I took all the art cl***es, life drawing, watercolor, all kinds of painting, even jewelry cl***.

I've figured I've got a bunch of stuff a young upcoming artist could use and I'd like to p*** it along.

Let see who we've got on here!! Post someone you know of yourself if you're that young'n and could and would use some art supplies!! I'll choose who I think could use it and forward all my extras along to them!!

  2. What kind of art stuff? For striping?
I met a guy over the weekend. He striped my car...... THEN he tells me he's never done a car before. Only little things around the house. The guy has incredible talent and attention to detail.

A younger (24 ish) couple just moved from Montana to the NW and landed next door to me. She took a job at the mall, he's looking for work and just landed a job last week. He is into painting, sketching, Tshirt design, CD covers for bands etc. I asked if he wanted to cruise along to get some striped laid on my Suburban, so I drug my artsy neighbor kid 200 miles to watch Ed mathews stripe the Burb a couple weeks ago. Cory, my neighbor, says that he wants to start looking into " a starter kit" or some brushes and a couple colors of one shot after we made the trek and got some stripes. Ed mentioned to him that practicing long straight lines is key, so I brought him home a Chevy truck hood from the body shop to prop up in his room last week. Now he's just waiting for a decent paycheck after finally getting a job to get some supplies.

Your last post just popped when I posted. He may appreciate the stuff you have left if you don't find someone

I'm not into art to much anymore. I'm trying to get into pinstriping. I bought a starter kit off amazon for a decent price. Let your neighbor know about the ones on amazon if he is on a budget. I don't know good equipment from bad but I am happy with the kit so far.
