I don't know much about Ventura or the area surrounding the show.

Is it kinda like Paso with all the motels on one strip? Says there is a show at the bowling alley. Are any of the motels closer to the park (or the bowling alley)?

Plan on having a few beers and don't want to end up driving 20 miles away. Any recomendations? What about the places listed on the flyer?

**** i used to live in Ventura County but i'm not familiar with the area that the show is being held at. i plan on going to this show, but i will most likely stay with my dad in Camarillo. just don't spend the night in Oxnard, lol.

All the hotels are the same except for the price.. try the Vagabond, pure 70's..It has a Great Breakfast place too.. and is right across the freeway.. The Holiday Inn is the closest, but pricey I'd bet.. call me if you need the low down on anything else..

i haven't been up there in a couple years so i'm sure it's improved, hehe.

  7. Pierpont is right down the road ( maybe 5 minutes non freeway drive). there are a couple of places there. Pierpont Inn right on the beach, motel 6, and some other place right next to it.

If you are into Sushi Juro-Cho Sushi is the best in Ventura. Pretty cool crowd just don't piss off the locals or the bikers ( read H.A.s).

This is a great show in a venue that couldn't be beat.

Im staying at the Clocktower Inn which is like a couple of blocks from seaside park. It was about a $100 bucks! Cool little spot. Got food all around me which is great. Its about 3-5 mins from Ventura lanes too. I know that's pricey, but I had to get a decent place since I'm taking my chick and I broke plans to go somewhere else that was planned in advance. Like this she cant complain, but probably will. Cant win.
