Not absolutely sure what this thread is about but I am going to post one of my 1948 Chrysler convertibles and see what happens.
This one was going to get a 1955 DeSoto 292 HEMI but the block I found out after I tore it apart was internally damaged and scrap!!

WOW, what a sweet car. This is a picture thread to share pictures of Mopars from 1940 to 1948. So your car qualifies with flying colors, good luck with the build and we look forward to seeing more as you progress. ;)

    Just starting a 1947 Plymouth.
It wont be stock when I'm done. Looking to build a sled.
I haven't done much yet, just finished the C- notch, should have the rear end with 4 link triangulated system in place by the weekend.
    Air Bags ordered.
Going to put a Mustang II kit on the front end.
Have long way to go, great project.

    My 48 Special Deluxe coupe.
Imported to the UK last autumn, with the SBC already fitted.I swapped the th350 out for a 200r4,fitted a 3rg gen Camaro rear axle so i could rig up a parking brake, lowered it 3"in the back and about 5 in the front by flipping the spring plates and fitted the smoothy wheels and tyres. It has a GM tilt column to which i fitted a custon made, flat Grant style wheel and it has some aftermarket gauges in the dash.It is a very very solid old car with a tidy interior and apart from throwing some dark blue satin paint on it over the next few weeks,i`m just going to drive it!
The primered fender is the result of a fender bender just 3 days after getting it on the road in the uk,but i dont want to talk about that!!

Does anybody have a front stone guard that fits a New Yorker? Its the piece between the front bumper and grill/fenders.
