32 ford roadster help

    I want to finsh off the area around the seat back where body meets the interior. If you have any pic of this spot done that would be great. I have seen where they use what I think is welting but not sure what size I would use and do you sew it to the interoir or??

    I like the old-style look of the upholstery rolled over the edge.

    If you use the wood tacking strip on the original, repo, gl*** or steel then pull the upholstery over the wood strip and tack the upholstery to it. Cover the tacks with hidem welt and you have a true traditional looking roll. Most newer builds push the seat back and use a thin strip of welting or nothing at all.
