I have an early Ansen NHRA bellhousing. The upper half has mounting pads for mounts (similar to the bell in the photo)

Does anyone have a photo of these mounts? Is it on a frame crossmember? Thanks

I never owned one, but it must be only one of two types. Either the 55-57 Chevy car mounts, or the 60s Chevy truck mounts. They differ by the bolting type at the bell.

truck used one bolt and one pin I think. And I want to say the car was 2 bolts, but it's been decades since I worked on those.

Regarding the 55-57 mount setup, do you know they are on a cradle that connects to both frame rails, or are they on seperate/divided mounts?

There is a mount that is on the frame at the cowl that they attach to on each side of the frame

    Are these the mount tabs?

This is a 57 Belair frame (I think)

That is a wedge belhousing not a ansen. My ansen ,the bottom is removable, The mounts bolt to the frame with 2 bolts and to the belhousing with 2 bolts. That wedge is more rare than a ansen.

I barely remember that tri 5 side mount, but i was thinking it did not have a crossmember like the Chevy trucks did.

I don't know if the cast angle of the pad on the car vs truck bell is the same or not. I vaguely recall it is not? But I know they use a different rubber mount.

Look at your Aftermarket bell to see how many bolt holes in each pad

Here's an ansen (just like mine)

it has 2 holes in each pad. I want to add these mounts to my 59 pickup (crossmember was previously removed on my truck)

Thanks for the photo. Now I need to find the mounts
