    Sorry John,sent the headlight doors west last fall already, second car didn't have a useable set...

    I love it!! and would never have thought it possible. You are making a silk purse from a sow's ear. In fact, there are some who think the '56 Dodge 4-door sedan is more like an overchromed three-tone sow's posterior. It's right up there with the three-tone '56 Hudson Hornet 4-dr my parents owned as maybe the most unlikely base for a custom.

    Thanks for the kind words everyone, really pumped to get at it this year... I can dream up some really cool ideas for that Hudson Jack! Hm, was going to call the old bomb the Royal Custom but The Silk Purse kinda had a funky ring....
    Those skirts would be nice but by the time I flew them 3000 miles I probably would blow half of the build budget. Let me know what you want for them, you never know...

    Finally had a chance to get a few more things done this past week or so, seems like a sudden burst of energy and the cancellation of my annual pinstriping event will free up a lot of time...

    Lol, I am not going to kid you. It may be wise to do groceries.... Long term thing as I raise my family and juggle my other things as well!
