Great post , any more of mcphail's car ,whats the rear like.Here is one in custom car, from japchris I think.

Root, the spots are dummies.
There are push ****on switches hidden in the end of the lenses.

 

How did he mount the solenoids? Did he change latches?

I'll sell you the pair of skirts from my '50 Chevy. I won't be using them. PM me if you're interested.

Root, he used the stock latches. He's got the doors apart right now, puttin' in new window channels and cat whishers. I could snap a couple pics if you want.
