I am working with a 1932 Chevy Coupe Chassis, going
the highboy route. The Rear end sticks up way to high
on the stock springs, wondering if there is someone out
there who produces lowered or monoleaf springs for
early chevys ???? I could use blocks, but anything over
2" is not safe, need to lower the rear by at least 4-6".
OR...might there be another spring from another car
that would do the same thing for me...?????

I know, that a triangulated rear setup would do the
trick, but I am on a VERY limited budget, and would
like to do this with wrenches...like it might have been
    done in the past.....

Any and All advice or suggestions would be much appreciated

For cheap and easy. Take springs to a spring shop. Have them reverse the eyes and de-arch the springs. They might have to shorten the main leaf a bit. The problem with original springs is that they aren't as stiff as wider springs. If you put lots of power to them you will get spring wrap.
