EDMUNDS ALUMINUM HEAD straight 8 info needed

    info needed to help ID this EDMUNDS head ...straight 8...38 head bolts...any help appreciated

    is this for the 327 L 8? thanks for your help...

    Motor's manual shows only one head bolt sequence for '49 & up. I don't know if that means the 327 And the 356 used the same head but nothing prior to '49 had 38 head bolts.

    For ?? don't know if exactly for but that head bolt pattern is 39-47 Super 8 and all 48-52 str8's
     
  6. My MOTOR"S shows '46-'47 Super 8 plus all '48-'54. 1956 edition.
    Whoops,, older book shows '39-'47 Super 8.

    had two gents look at the head...it is most definately a PACKARD Super 8 head..it will fit the 288/327 S8 engine......thanks to all who pitched in with help...keep watching...never know what i might come across...the hunt goes on....

    where did you get it. i want one for my 327,,, i was thinking about having one made. where did you get it?/

    i bo't out a 50 yr. collection of cars,the oldest being a 39 lincoln cv with a v12..there was 2 52 packard cv's also...this sitting under a bench...never installed..i was sold to a gentleman in florida for his packard...he also has the dual carb set up ...should be spectacular when done..
