1952-54 merc fender skirts question for the kustom folks

I am finally back to work on the 53 merc. It's turned into a "no budget" project but I am still motivated to get it on the road soon. Anyway, I've seen pics of 52-54 mercs with taller skirts that fill the whole wheel arch. Is this an obvious swap from another car or some full kustom metal fab that I'm looking at? any info appreciated. Mark Morton's chopped yellow 54 is a good example. I think it was in rod and custom a while back. Thanks.

 

I know I was told there were two styles available for my '53 (Ford) a taller set and a shorter set. Post a pic of an example with the ones you're interested in, but it's altogether possible that you're after a factory accessory part.

 

i think what you are talking about are the foxcraft outside mount skirts. i have them on my 54 ford but i dont have any pics. look at www.bigjims.net. i thing he will have what your looking for.......................john
