For the past few years I have hit countless shows of all types. I had heard on the hamb and by word of mouth that West Coast Kustoms was an event not to miss. I took my bride along for the weekend and stayed in a near by beach town to try to make it a mixture of car show and a weekend getaway for us. Little did I know that Santa Maria is the place to be the entire time and we both never wanted to leave. From the moment we rolled up in the '27 on Friday night during the cruise our minds were blown. I heard there were an estimated 10,000 people lining the street during the cruise. We parked in the parking lot at the Santa Maria Inn and were surrounded by Kustom royalty. Everybody was super friendly to us as we are very new to this particular scene. Needless to say we enjoyed the cruise, the show, the vendors, and most of all the people. We will be back next year with a slew of our Central Valley friends. Thank you WCK volunteers for working so hard this weekend and coordinating such a great show. I'll post a bunch of photo's when I get time over the next few days but you can always see the hundreds of photo's our freelance guys took here http://www.hotrodcoalition.com/west-cost-kustoms-2013/
