I can't help much with transportation but I'm here in Jackson TN. If you wanted to transfer everything into a regular box van so you could pull a trailer, I could help out with a forklift to help unload when you get to this end. Just a last ditch thought if needed. I even have access to a loading ramp and a rollback truck to assist. Some freight companies will let you load it all in a van trailer and they pull it.

    Duane in Tennessee.

This is a good post. I am looking for a quote and I posted on Uship, so far very high over $1000.

I gave them a call, they quoted under $750! I think Thats who I will be using unless someone from Uship can beat that!

My trucks arrived this evening a little after 7pm central in good condition thanks to "Curves Ahead" transport (800.869.4140). The driver Phil was a gentleman who DID what he told me he could do, which is all you can ask of anyone, and gets my recommendation based on that honesty.
What have we learned today kiddies? That the broker system is broken. While it may work fine for common freight, it seems to fall far short as far as car transport is concerned. Based on this experience (my first) I'd have to say that if you talk to the guy in the drivers seat you can do OK... don't waste your time with someone who will make promises he can't possibly keep.
