I have the original tires on a 1941 that I am replacing. Want to keep original rims. Do I have to use tires with tubes or are there any other options Looking to upgrade to WWW. Any advantages or disadvantages to tubes. Any info would be appreciated

Best use tubes I think. Wheels where made different back then

  3. Use tubes. Rims were riveted to the centers, and will leak if used with tubeless tires.

I've ran tubeless tires on several sets of 40's gm wheels for years with no problems.
