Things are kind of stalled on my roadster right now. And truthfully I haven't been too excited about running a 49-51 Merc flathead in a car that was supposed to look like it was built around 1946-48. I won this cherry 1950 F1 last night on eBay. Something happened to the motor and they parked it in a barn before I was born :) So now it looks like I have a home for that Merc flattie until my roadster is actually ready to drive. As a bonus it's on Route 66 which is another one of my obsessions. Plans are to go get it in early July. As far as the truck, it's getting a matte clear coat, lowered, and new tires on the stock rims, that's it. Can't wait to tear into this one! Congrats on the F-1 Scott.

You p***ed me a couple times last Summer when I was heading down Wilder to get my semi loaded at Straits. Your Tudor looks and sounds great. You actually got beside me at a light and I didn't know it and I thought there was something going on with my truck. Then the light changed and you got ahead of me, then I figured out what the rumble was.

Now I can look forward to a cool F-1 on Wilder!!

I live up inbetween Sterling and West Branch, up at the 202 on I-75

I can't believe how clean the seams are on the front fenders. They're usually packed with rust and Bondo around here.

FINALLY, you take my advice. I told you that you ought to buy that thing when you showed me the pictures. The next thing that will happen is you'll build some *****in hot rod truck out of it and I'll start kicking my self for selling mine to Roger.:D

Well since you sold yours on me I have to hand thousands of dollars over to a complete stranger 800 miles away! It's already rather *****in so I'm going to do as little to it as possible. Lowered, clear coated, new tires, swap in that nasty flathead of mine and call it done.
