I'm Officially the Proud owner of a 36 Ford Coupe!

Satin black?

Dude, proper stance and wheels/tires is all it takes to make a car look right-especially a 36. Satin black and pinstriping it is just a replacement cliche, something to set it apart from the current cliche street rod that it is now. Not worth it.

Correct the stance, put wide whites and nice caps on it and see what you think then, before you go putting dull, played out paint on one of the most beautiful cars to ever roll off Henry Ford's ***embly line.

Here's a photo since the fenders were painted.

I wholeheartedly agree that it would be a real shame to scuff and shoot perfectly good paint (and a great color too!) for flat black just so you can look like a thousand other cars. Unless you just HATE yellow (I personally love yellow), then live with for the summer at least. The wheels and tires will be the biggest change.

I did this super fast just to show what some black steelies and Firestones would look like on your car. A definite improvement.

 

Love your 36 bro! Thanks for the photoshop job! Ya man i honestly hate yellow personally but was going to wait till i throw on white walls and steelies to see if i can live with it for a while... As far as going black it was just an idea and a temporary thing to get rid of the yellow. I plan on giving it a nice Candy paint job eventually soon
