They were asking $37 grand for the blue one and $47 grand for the tan one. Don't know if they were gl*** or Brookville. Appeared to be well built though

They usually bring a couple up to York to sell, but they will build one for customers and are pretty flexible about making changes to personalize the cars. They typically put 290 horse crate motors in the ones they bring to sell.

Those roadsters are fibergl*** bodies. Chad and his crew build a great car! I had one as well as my father. We both sold them but never had any issues with them at all. Whenever I needed to contact Chad about something he always replied fast. I'd love to have the $$$ to get him to build me another one...

Nice cars but priced out of my league. I saw them there, but didn't pay too much attention. They seemed to be built well, but there's nothing that really makes then stand out from a zillion just like them. No individuality. I'd call then "street rods" not "hot rods".

Even caught Gary T. himself in that shot with his red HAMB hat.

Just uploaded some show pictures to the Washington County Street Rodders photo site.

If you go to my thread, "Video: NSRA Nats East" under event coverage, I took some video of the exterior and interior. The car is on the video twice, once near the beginning and later on. I don't know the time frames, but I'll check for you. The interior was beautiful, it had a shelf behind the seats with a chrome and wood luggage rack, and the seats were suede leather. He was delivering the car to the owner at the Nats East, I talked to the builder and owner.

  9. That's the first thing I noticed about the pic also JJ. Who in the HELL puts radials on THAT car?!?!

I put the radials on that car because they were a hell of a lot safer than the matched set of vintage real magnesium wheels I have for the car that contain a matched set of vintage(read that as damn old and cracked) M&H Racemaster tires.
If you'd been there you'd know I DROVE the hell out of the vintage g***er around York and wouldn't risk blowing one of those vintage tires and risking the safety of myself and many others.

Sorry but safety trumps anybody's complaint about tires in a still picture. It was too damn hot to be switching wheels in the parking lot, or anywhere else for that matter, just so the folks not there wouldn't complain about the damn radials.

I went to alot of trouble to get that pickup and g***er to York so the folks could see the pkp flat tow the g***er around York. The wide grins and smiles and thumbs up from the many people I saw made it all worth while. Having fun with our old toys is what it is all about but we have to be safe.

I'm sorry the tires offended anyone but if you want to volunteer to be my pit crew to change all four wheels at the next meet in a blazing sun, let me know and I'll bring along the mags with the old tires. I already have pics of the car with them on it.

The pkp had been in the York area since new as far as I know until I bought it last year at York and took it to VA. Many thanks to the fellows that stopped by to share more history on the old pkp that was last painted and pinstriped around 1957. The pinstriping is amazing on the old truck and I'd love to know who deserves the credit for the work. Anybody know? Thanks.
PS I spent most of all day Friday replacing the rear axle bearing in the old pkp in the very hot sun. It wore me out but I got 'er done. That enabled me to flat tow it around the fairgrounds again Saturday and share the combo with others.

I forgot to mention that the Moon tank on the front is the same tank that was run on the car back in the 60s. A prior owner had kept it the last 50 years and sold it to me when I took the car back to GA in April to share it with many of the prior owners and others who remembered the car from back in the day. I felt very fortunate to be able to reunite the car with the SAME old Moon tank that was once run on the car so long ago. Can't get much more lucky than that.

Love the Olds wagon and the unusual shade of red 32. Lots of cars look to be very well done.

Hamtown Al you really did not have to explain anything, your car do what you want. Well written response. Nice pair of vehicles.

X2!!! Your cars, no need to justify anything to those who want to be critical. Amazes me some of the at***udes on here toward other peoples vehicles....

I was actually at York and saw you flat towing around the fairground. Very Cool!!!

Hamtown Al, it was too damn hot to do anything Saturday!. Thanks for bringing that old lady to the show. It should always be safety first, especially in a crowd. Loved your vehicles. They sure beat the "gentleman" who insisted in driving his pink 32 with the Hemi through the crowds so we could all appreciate how loud a Hemi is without mufflers. :)
