Hey there fellas, I am a new guy that has been lurkin around here for 8 yrs. finally decided to jump in. I have a 53' chevy 150, thats been chopped and had a few mods. still runnin a straight 6, love those engines. i like the vibe on this board and enjoy all the info, its amazing that there is all this kinda knowledge on here. glad to be here.

Some OT, but here it goes; do you remember that dirt track out on 183 just past Bergstrom? When did it close? Used to go there in the 1960's and a friend drove one of the cars. Thanks..... Jeff

I am not originally from Austin, so I don't know. I am a barber and get alot of older fellas in my chair, and I have heard of that track, tho. Sounds like good times.
