A buddy of mine has a set of four magnesium American racing torq thrusts lingering in his garage. I believe they are 14 inch and chevy bolt pattern. He wants to out them up for sale but doesn't know what a fair asking price is not do I. They seem to be in decent condition without heavy pitting or other damage, they just need a good cleaning. Any insight on this would be appreciated. Thanks ImageUploadedByTJJ1370309243.274173.jpg ImageUploadedByTJJ1370309255.299180.jpg

They are T70s. No idea what they are worth. Got the center caps?

I know. I'd like to have them but the bolt pattern won't work for me

Not magnesium, just dirty aluminum. 14 inchers don't have much of a market any more, unless maybe for a Falcon or early Nova. I'd think you'd be lucky to get $100 each.

I love my 14's, but I think one may be slightly bent. That's why I wish you lived closer!

those have an odd offset. maybe for something special like a Corvair.

    14 x what?

  12. I believe those wheels, T70R's were produced around 1968-1972 or so, odd center caps and atatching hardware as well. These are a set on my Galaxie.

with the outside lip those would be t70r , not t70 style, 14 inchers arent very popular to bad they arent 15 , and they never made them in magnesium , yours are aluminuim , good luck

They belong to a friend who recently "unearthed" them. He wants them out of the way. Too bad they aren't magnesium, they certainly look like it. Thanks for all the responses.

  16. Yes, as I stated above in my post, T70R, and they made several others as well in that casting. And, 15s are the more popular Hot Rod wheel but the 14s are very traditional for that time period and the low ride crowd as my wheels. Do you have any catalogs or more information?

I measured them last night. They are about 8" wide, chevy bolt pattern and 3.5" back spacing.
