The Misfits had their annual car show this weekend. Just of few from the show, or go here to see all of them. http://s297.photobucket.com/user/dwkramer/library/MisFits Car Show?sort=9&page=1
There's another "Misfits C.C." in Portland also, plus one up north in Wa. No relation between the three that I know of.
Thanx for the show! Loved that yellow Vicky, but the blue Kurtis roadster was surprising and amazing to see at a hot rod show. Gary
I smell a brawl, Auburn Misfits & Oregon Misfits. over naming rights... Maybee just a new chapter patch????
nope the grants p*** group has been around 5 years now I was a charter member. for the most part good group of folks.
Washington, or should I now say western Washington, Misfits have been around longer than 5 years. Hell we have been having poker runs nearly that long! Were flattered none the less.
I googled "misfits" once and seems there are others around the country too! Wonder what type of cars are in each club?
Didn't mean to start a controversy here. I can't get to the popular tradition shows, and they usually have the same cars, which I don't mind seeing each time. Just thought some might like to see some different cars for a change. Not only around the country, but around the world. (Of course there also is a misfits TV show, and a misfits clothing line.) I don't know what types of cars are common in the southern Oregon club, (maybe plymouth1952 can chime in on that one), but their show is open to basically any type of car.
Kramer, you did not start anything. I was just curious about the club, I noticed the Misfits (Portland area) while at the Transmission shop show a few weeks ago but did not know about the further south group does not surprise me about being others out there. Just surprised to see three in just the NW. But officially the Seattle/tacoma area group is call the "Misfits, Rod and Kustom Junkies"
there good folk they have everything from rods to pro street blown monsters to Johns Webbers bad *** Vett.
For the record, that plague Boones posted is in the national c.c. registry...so I think those guys are pretty legit. There history is pretty deep but they are so layed back and so not into the whole "we're a club thing"......so I here.
