41 ford rear bumper irons

    just put on front bumper of my 41 cpe. car is painted and i never mocked up bumpers. all went well, whew. when looking at the rear irons they dont look like they sandwich the frame as the front do. can anyone save me some trail and error and let me know how they bolt to the frame. thanks

    I've taken apart plenty of those cars but don't remember that detail. Mount the irons to your bumper and see if the frames ends are flush together.

    i mounted mine together (not split) to the outside of the frame- ^ like pasadena said fasten them to the bumper and see where it wants to go.

    Mine mounted on the outside of the frame (not split) like Mr. Musico said. :D

    Mine were mounted paired up on the outside
     
  7. Rear Irons-outside of frame-paired together
    The front irons are shaped to split at the frame-one side in and one side out.
