1952 Chevy: Does this serial number look legit?

Does this serial number look original to the truck? How can I decode it? I think its a 1952-53 pickup

 

Jeez...the end of that number looks like the devil.

 

It bears the mark of the BEAST! SELL and RUN!

 

Just doing some due diligence before I go look at the car

 

5=Kansas city, K=1952, P=3100, K=november
Plate and rivets both correct for 52 chevy.

 

I hope it's not a car, wrong plate for a car.

 

You can go look, but the guy's ***le will not match that tag number.....Those trucks are ***led to the MOTOR number ,and you can see it on the original 6 cylinder motor on the block "ledge" near the distributor on p***engers side of block......

 

****s that GM did the ***le to the motor, hardly any match. and when some of us put V8s in them it is even further off.

 

Some states ***led them with the engine number some did not.
Some states will ***le them with the serial number if the motor is missing.

My truck is ***led with the number on the ID plate.

 

that is sometimes the end result if your old engine is gone....almost always it will require an inspection by the highway patrol to verify number/***le change issue though.....
