Hey OG, Tell me more about that truck! I`m building one right now like that, and I want it lower than whale shit!
You call that a heap? It's not easy chopping that year Merc. I hear ya talkin', gotta keep the "Speedboat" stance.
Heres my 54, As low as I want to go with no bags. Thanks to 50chevy for taking a pic of it at billetproof.
Here's my 33 p/u 6" chop, 8" channel and my 31 C-dan 5" chop, 7" channel. The cowl clearance on the C-dan is a little less than 2" right now, but it's going to be coming up a little. I used to be a gauge watcher, but now I'm a pot hole watcher with the frame banging I'm doing on the streets around here. At 75 on the highway when it hits, it really fucks with your nerves!
My F-1....I got it back and it's getting changed....hehehe..... but it sure in the hell ain't getting any higher!
My 64 Mercury....about 1 1/2 inches from the frame to the deck....and getting lifted soon.......I hate the way it rides..... And to steal a phrase...."If it ain't low ...It ain't mine!!!"
My '40,'41,'46 Ford truck. Chopped 4", homebuilt frame with a 13" kick in the rear, 6' front. Air springs in the rear.
I can just squeaze my fist under the frame and the exhaust tips are square on the bottom. And Buick 58's car is sick! Can't get enough of 58 GM's
