I'm 61 and live in Colorado Springs, recently moved here from Phoenix. I sure do miss Phoenix. Haven't been able to run into any car guys up here yet and miss just bsing about vehicles. Had my own shop in Phoenix for 18 years so had plenty of car people to chat with. Currently spending most of my time trying to find employment, not so easy at my age. Down to one toy, my 69 Chevy 3/4 ton. Rebuilt the 307 in it and bored it to a 313. Added a bunch of goodies but had to replace the high rise intake I put on it, just a bit too much for it. My Granddaughter has a 70 Impala two door ht with the 402 that I'm helping her with. Anyway, happy to be here and would love to just shoot the breeze with other car people. PS: I'm basically a blue oval fan, but as luck would have it, I currently have two bow ties.
Welcome from Larkspur, Colorado! When I did the "Run for the Wall" they told us FNG means "Fun New Guy". Jobs around here are tough to say the least. Us over 60 seem to be destined to Walmart! Hang in there, something will turn up. Good luck!
Welcome to the Springs. Lots of us around here. Come see us at Culver's on Lake Avenue tomorrow night and every Tuesday night, or Borriello Brothers Pizza off Oro Blanco on Thursdays and Culvers in Fountain on Sundays 3-7.
