Mid Missouri salvage/junk yards?

Any Missouri H.A.M.Brs from the Ft Leonard Wood area know of any salvage yards with old Chevys, Pontiacs, or Oldsmobils 1960 or older. I found one at Cabool, MO that has about any year/make back to about 49 or so but they are only open on weekdays. I took a couple of days off and was amazed at what they had.

One other thing is there a spell check feature on this forum?

 

I don't know of any yet, but I'm a transplant to MO. Where is the one in Cabool? I kuld uz won ov thos thr spell-chekers meself.

 

The yard at Cabool is probably the best around. There are still plenty of old cars in this area but they are ****tered around the countryside. Are you looking for any specific parts? Sam

Nothing specific. Just looking for some Ideas. I want to get rid of the dash from my 49 fleetline, I have looked at puting in one from a 59/60 chevy but im open to other ideas. That and checking out a good salvage yard is a great way to pas time when I cant work on my car. My car is in Arkansas, so I dont get a lot of time to work on it.

 

Does JC stand for Jefferson City?

 

If its gm you want you could probably still get it next to trailer-ed's . If it's got a blue oval on it it's already been moved over to his place. Pool
