My name is Rand and im Doin a 1936 chevy pickup. ready to buy rear end. Ive heard a Isuzu rodeo will fit pretty easy and has the 6 x 5 2/2 bolt pattern for mu stock wheels. Anyone have any idea if that will work? And if not sny suggestions on what rear end to buy? Thanks

  2. There are a lot of 6-lug rearends with your bolt pattern used by Japanese mini trucks. Datsun/Nissan, Mazda, Toyota 4wd, Izusu, Mitsubushi as some examples. As for what will work and fit, get a tape measure and compare.

If you want 5-lug, just about any rearend around 59-60 inches wms will work. Lot of options around this width. My old 37 Chevy truck had a 57 Chevy car rearend for example. You can swap 5-lug hubs and drums onto your front using 49-54 car parts.

I just got an 85 k5 blazer rear end for my 36 truck. I got the advice from another guy that already has one on his 36. Picked it up for $100.00 complete. The guy was putting some 8 lug axles in his blazer to make a rock climber. I fit one of my stock wheels on it before I bought it and it bolted right up.
    hope this helps!!!
