Hey everyone. Name's Ben, I've been over on Garage Journal for a while and heard lots about "the HAMB" so I wanted to come check it out. Like it says in my profile I'm in the service up here in the windy north west. My dad got me into hot rods when I was knee high to a gr*** hopper and now I'm trying to p*** on the love of the kulture to my son. He's only 2 but he still plays with his toy cars. :D I may be young but I'm definitly what you would define as a "traditional" kind of guy. Not into a lot of bling and shine. Is it fast is the only question I need an answer to. I came here to learn and soak up as much of the knowledge and tradition from the ol' timers that I can. I love to learn and don't mind being told when I'm being an a$$hole. Great to be here. Thanks.

  2. Welcome, and if you think we are north west you must be from WAY Southeast!

Nope, actually I'm from Wyoming originally. Honestly I'm not sure why I said north west instead of mid west like it's usually called. Guess I had a brain fart moment. It's been mid west all my life and I couldn't think of it when I was typing the heading. Long day at work.

Welcome from Colorado Springs. I was at Ellsworth my first 8 years in the USAF. I'm out now. What's your job? I was a crew chief for 3 years and then crossed over into CE.

  11. Welcome from SD. They have a lot of cool stuff at Ellsworth. I live in Lead. Car show this Sunday at the Boars Nest. It is South of Lead about two miles. There is another car show in Belle Fourche on Friday and Saturday. Tman is in charge of the local HAMB.
